Danyi Wen

Dr. Wen’s research foundation was 12 years at Millennium Pharmaceutical, Biogen-Idec in Boston, MA. In 2007, inspired by the innovation originating from home, she returned back to China as VP of Biology at Shanghai ChemPartner. She founded Shanghai LIDE Biotech in 2011 to drive research and development in personalized precision medicine. She holds a B.S. from the Fourth Military Medical University, an M.S. (M.D. equivalent) from Peking Union Medical University / Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and an MBA from Suffolk University. She did her post-doc at Harvard Medical School, Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
Liyu Wu
Vice President, Global BD, North America

Liyu brings a strong foundation of translational science to LIDE, having spent her PhD and postdoctoral years investigating cancer biology and cell-signaling mechanisms. Over the past 16 years, Liyu has built a multifaceted career spanning key roles at Champions Oncology, WuXi AppTec, Pharmaron and Atombeat. With her combined scientific expertise and commercial acumen, Liyu is committed to driving LIDE’s global oncology collaborations and expanding access to the company’s precision research platforms for partners across translational research and drug development.

Josh leads LIDE’s global client partnerships with a focus on transparency, agility, and strategic alignment. With a background in both healthcare consulting and digital innovation, he helps connect LIDE’s services to broader business and clinical goals. Whether you’re seeking a functional screening model or full IND support, Josh ensures clarity on scope, cost, and outcomes.
Simon Jiang

With decades of cross-border commercialization and project management experience, he’s your behind-the-scenes advocate, aligning LIDE’s cross-functional teams to deliver effectively and efficiently so you can just focus on the science.
Our Facilities
Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a translational research startup into a multi-entity platform serving drug developers, physicians, and patients across China and abroad. We currently have three facilities and looking to launch our first non-China based lab within the next 24 months.
Shanghai LIDE Biotech Co., Ltd. (LIDE Biotech)
Our flagship CRO facility, dedicated to oncology drug development and personalized medicine. We support the full suite of preclinical services backed by an AAALAC-accredited SPF animal facility and cutting-edge infrastructure.
Xi’an LIDE Biotech Co., Ltd. (XIAN LIDE)
A translational medicine hub and clinical laboratory within the Xi’an Hi-Tech Park. This facility also features an AAALAC-accredited SPF animal center and holds a national clinical lab license, supporting both research and diagnostics.
