PDOX for Brain Metastatic Models

  • PDX were established subcutaneously using samples from patients with primary tumor that metastases to the brain (tissue, cerebrospinal fluid, etc.), whereas cell populations were generated using technology of conditional reprogramming, which can be further labeled with luciferase. These cells can be inoculated into mice ventricle via stereotaxic apparatus. Survival of mice can be recorded and intensity of fluorescence can be tracked timely using In Vivo Imaging System (IVIS).

13.1 Schemes for PDOX establishment using brain metastasis

  • LIDE has established over 20 hematological malignancy PDOXs including AML, ALL, multiple myeloma, and different kinds of lymphoma.
